Hello, I Like You
This short film is just a compilation of quick, interesting shots one after the other. The overall tone is that of happiness and just quirky, good feelings. There is no dialogue in this film, but the music affects is so much. It's happy and bouncy, and really does add so much to the mood. Without the happy music in the background, the film could have taken on a whole new tone. The cinematography in this film is quite astounding. All of the shots are beautifully done, and although they are quite varying they are still tied together well. I think it's because they are all close up, macro shots of different items so that helps the flow of the shots. My favorite part of this film is most likely the close up shots of the screws. I thought it was amazing how close and well defined they could be, and the parts where they were all turning across the black screen was really interesting. I really enjoyed the film, but it was not one of my favorites. It's very cool, and different from almost anything i've seen before, but I did not think it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
